Before You Book
When should I book my session?
For families, the sooner the better — especially for newborns and maternity. Most clients book 1–3 months in advance. If you’re already in the middle of your story (baby’s here, kids are growing, time’s flying), don’t stress — we’ll find a date that works!
Do you photograph other sessions besides families?
Absolutely! While family storytelling is my heart, I also photograph couples, college grads, and seniors — because every season of life deserves to be remembered beautifully.
What’s included in the $99 session fee?
Your session fee reserves your date and includes planning, styling guidance, and your session time. You’ll view your images afterward and only purchase what you love — most families invest $399–$1,200 in heirloom artwork.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Most families choose to split their investment into smaller, stress-free payments. We’ll set it up during your Reveal Session so it fits your timeline perfectly.
During Your Session
What should we wear?
You don’t need to stress about that — I’ll send a simple style guide with outfit inspiration that photographs beautifully and feels like you. Neutral tones, movement-friendly pieces, and textures that look timeless always win.
My kids (or partner 😅) don’t love photos — will this still work?
Yes! My sessions are relaxed and play-based — lots of movement, laughter, and zero pressure to “pose.” The best photos happen in the in-between moments.
We want to include our dog in our photoshoot. Is that okay?
Absolutely! I love the fur babies! Just be sure to bring a leash, a few treats, and maybe a favorite toy to help grab their attention.
What happens if it rains (for outdoor sessions)?
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast! If weather looks questionable, I’ll be in touch 24 hours before your session to discuss backup plans or rescheduling—at no extra cost to you.
After Your Session
How do we choose our photos?
After your session, you’ll get to see your full gallery during a Reveal Session — either in person or virtually. You’ll select your favorites and decide how you want to preserve them: albums, wall art, framed prints, etc.
What is image credit?
It’s basically a shopping credit for your images and can be applied toward any photo products, such as matted prints, wall art, albums, and more. You’ll be able to use your image credit during your reveal session to purchase the items you love most. It offers flexibility and helps you get the most value from your session.
What if I don’t want prints and only want the digital album?
If wall art and albums aren't calling your name, our image bundles offer the most images for the best value. They include master retouched images as digitals and matted prints for you to enjoy. It’s a great way to get high-quality, beautifully finished images in both digital and tangible form, without going all-in on large print products.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The reveal session will be scheduled for the week following your photoshoot. After you choose your favorites, our editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. After digitals are delivered, the order will be made for your heirloom products.
